Norwich: St Andrew, Norwich

About our church
St Andrew's is the second largest church in the City of Norwich and is one of the finest examples of East Anglian architecture. The great flint tower was finished in 1478 and the remainder of the church in 1506. The Suckling Chapel has beautifully carved monuments to Robert Suckling, mayor in 1572 and 1582, and to his son, Sir John, Secretary of State to James I and Charles I, and Sir John's wife, Martha, who died in 1613.

Built: 1506
